Reaching the Craigdarroch
By Road

We are situated in Foyers, just off General Wade's Military Road (the B852), roughly half way between Inverness and Fort Augustus.

Given our location it can be sometimes difficult to locate the Craigdarroch Hotel, especially with Local Authority regulations limiting road side signage. We strongly recommend that you use a navigation app to locate us, using the desination CRAIGDARROCH HOTEL. Do not use our postcode.

FROM INVERNESS: Turn right off the B852 just after Foyers Lodge, before you enter the village of Foyers. You will travel downhill toward the Loch shore. After roughly 750m take the left up the unpaved track passing the recycling/refuse point. Follow the track uphill and at the fork at the top, continue to the right to the Hotel.

FROM FORT AUGUSTUS: Travel through the village of Foyers and continue approximately 1km on the B852 until you see a sign on your right signposting Medical Centre left. Turn left here and travel downhill toward the Loch shore. After roughly 750m take the left up the unpaved track passing the recycling/refuse point. Follow the track uphill and at the fork at the top, continue to the right to the Hotel.

If you are travelling by electric vehicle, plan your route and find out where charging stations are located with Chargemap

Rural Location
Part of the charm of the Craigdarroch is it's rural location. This does mean part of your journey to us will include single-track (although well maintained) roads. For those on motorcycles, please be aware that part of our driveway has a gravel surface. If you won't have a car, bus and taxi transportation is limited and really only exists between the hotel and Inverness.

Accessibility
Step free access is available to all ground floor areas of the hotel, restaurant & bar and we have accessibile facilities on the ground floor for customer use. Parking for orange badge holders is situated less than 20 metres from the entrance.

The footprint of the hotel means that all hotel guest rooms are located on the first floor which is only accessible via stairs, there is no lift. All of our ensuite bathrooms feature shower over bath facilities.
